  1. Thank you for this very informative article. I’ve been using WordPress for just a months now and I’m trying to master it for my business. This is a good one to refresh my understanding and my overview of it.

    Thanks a lot.

    Cheers!

    1. I agree with you that if you want to use some of the more advanced WordPress features, you need to have some understanding of the web development process. The same is not necessarily true for SEO. The WordPress SEO by Yoast plugin, for example, makes it easy to make your WP website or blog easy to crawl by search engines.

      1. Yes I totally agree! With Yoast plugin it’s really easy to setup your SEO. It really does make things easier. To all beginners out there who’s looking for a better way to improve SEO, you should go ahead and use the SEO by Yoast Plugin.

  2. Hi Yavor, this is great article, I’ve been searching for a few posts like this and been wondering what CMS would be the best fit for me. I recently tried WordPress and I’ve been very comfortable using it. I still got a long way to go, though. Oh, and I used that plugin as well, I still don’t know a lot about SEO so I tried the Yoast plugin instead.

Do you have any other tools you can use for this?

    Thanks in advance.

    1. Hi Babette,

I also don’t know much about SEO and I’ve been using a number of SEO plugins in the past. The most obvious alternative to the Yoast plugin is the All in One SEO Pack. However, most people are using the WordPress SEO by Yoast plugin and once you get to know it and start to feel comfortable with it, I don’t think you will need any other WP SEO plugin ever.

I don’t know what CMS would best fit your requirements but no CMS comes even close to the user base, support and ease of use of WordPress.

  3. Hi Yavor, very impressive article! You made my thoughts more clear on the use of WordPress. I was using wordprees for a few months and was wondering how can I use this amazing platform for SEO. And then I came to know about Yoast Plugin because of your post and the discussion. Trust me no other CMS can beat WordPress. Thanks for this great article 🙂

  4. That’s true. WordPress is a really powerful platform. The best part I love about using WordPress is the availability of designed themes which are fully responsive. The way you presented your thoughts makes it easier for every beginner to clearly understand the power of using WordPress.

Keep up the good work 🙂
